A note on anatomy
Took some time to rework the anatomy of the Ji so they can walk on all fours more naturally. My original concept had more "proportional" legs, but they looked wrong and didn't work for posing and animation tests.
After looking at the anatomy of numerous animals in the fossil record (including gorillas and other "semi-bipedal" animals like chimps, some lizards, and certain species of dinosaurs), I opted to scale down the legs and feet of the broodlings, while elongating the torso slightly and changing the alignment of the shoulders.
The Broodling on the left is the concept before reworking the anatomy. The right is adjusted based on research.
Cleared the problem right up.
